The surgical specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery involves the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the mouth, jaw, face and neck. It is seen as the bridge between medicine and dentistry as it treats conditions which require the surgeons to have expertise in both backgrounds.

Mr Alibhai is a dual qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who treats an extensive range of conditions including facial injuries, head and neck cancers, salivary gland disease, facial pain, impacted teeth, cysts, tumours of the jaw, mouth ulcers and infections.

He studied Dentistry at the University of Liverpool and medicine at Kings College London. He has many years of experience in maxillofacial surgery which includes treating patients with oral medicine and oral surgery conditions.
